Meet our newest team member, Ethan

London, UK — June 23, 2025 — We are thrilled to welcome Ethan Lavialle to the PolyModels Hub team as a Data Scientist.

Ethan holds a degree in Medical Engineering from the University of Leeds, where he graduated with the highest overall mark in the School of Mechanical Engineering. His academic background blends mechanical design, systems engineering, and data analysis—providing a strong foundation for solving complex, real-world challenges with clarity and rigor.

After university, Ethan joined GSK, where he worked across both operational and technical teams, contributing to a wide range of digitalisation and automation initiatives. A key placement in the PAT and Data Analytics group introduced him to data science and multivariate modelling methods such as PLS and PCA, sparking a deep and lasting passion for using data to better understand and optimise pharmaceutical processes.

At PolyModels Hub, Ethan will focus on developing and deploying advanced digital workflows. His combination of engineering mindset and commitment to continuous improvement aligns closely with our mission to deliver smarter, more scalable solutions in pharmaceutical development.

What an opportunity to help shape the future of pharmaceutical development through cutting-edge modelling and data science!
