Meet our newest team member, Giulia

London, UK — January 15, 2025 — We are very happy to announce that Giulia Marchese has joined PolyModels Hub as our newest team member!

Giulia brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience in pharma modeling and data science. With both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, she has laid a strong foundation for process modeling and optimization. Her Master’s thesis, focusing on developing a system model for a secondary tableting line, showcases the kind of innovative thinking we value at PolyModels Hub.

Over the years, Giulia has worked extensively as a chemometrician and data scientist, developing machine learning models for biopharmaceutical research and small molecule applications. She has also designed, developed, and deployed data-driven monitoring models at scale, enabling seamless support for various manufacturing technologies and processes. Beyond analytics, Giulia brings hands-on experience in web application development and expertise in physics-based and hybrid modeling techniques, further highlighting her ability to bridge technical innovation with practical applications.

At PolyModels Hub, Giulia will take on the role of Process Modelling Engineer, where she’ll work closely with our clients to elevate our pharma modeling offerings. Her focus will be on creating high-value, model-based workflows that drive innovation and deliver impactful results.
