Meet our newest team member, Soumya

London, UK — October 5, 2025 — We are excited to announce that Soumya Jonnalagadda has joined PolyModels Hub as a Process Modelling Engineer!

Soumya holds an MEng in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London, where she specialised in modelling, simulation, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Her academic work includes CFD modelling of Onyx liquid embolic systems, where she developed simulations to improve treatment of cerebral arteriovenous malformations. She also contributed to research on nanoparticle drug delivery across the blood–brain barrier—earning EPSRC funding for her contributions to healthcare innovation.

Soumya is equally passionate about communication and education. From authoring accessible content on pharma and biotech, to building learning platforms for students and collaborating with the Sargent Centre for Process Systems Engineering to translate optimisation research for broader industry use, she brings a rare balance of technical and communication skills.

At PolyModels Hub, Soumya will support our growing R&D team while also engaging directly with customers. Her role bridges internal innovation and external application, helping us deliver modelling workflows that are both technically rigorous and practically impactful.
